Aaron began his career in financial services working for Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, as a Quantitative Analyst. He also worked as an Investment Officer at the Virginia Retirement System where his responsibilities included equity research and portfolio management. He re-joined Wells Fargo & Co. in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an Investment Risk Manager within Wells Fargo Asset Management. In this role, Aaron had investment risk oversight of client and company assets.

Aaron joined the practice in 2014. He is responsible for investment and risk oversight for high net worth families and individuals. In addition, his investment management responsibilities for advisory programs include security selection, construction, performance review, and allocation decisions across the practice. He manages the team’s comprehensive trading operations for fixed income and equities. Aaron works closely with Wells Fargo Advisors’ research and trading teams in an effort to ensure best pricing and trade execution for our clients.

Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master of Arts in Financial Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University. 

He and his wife Lauren, daughters Presley and Birdie, and son Paul, live on Daniel Island. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and many of Charleston’s outdoor recreations including golf, tennis, biking and fishing.

Based on accepted statistical methods, eMoney uses a mathematical process used to implement complex statistical methods that chart the probability of certain financial outcomes at certain times in the future. This charting is accomplished by generating hundreds of possible economic scenarios that could affect the performance of your investments. Using Monte Carlo simulation this report uses up to 1000 scenarios to determine the probability of outcomes resulting from the asset allocation choices and underlying assumptions regarding rates of return and volatility of certain asset classes. Some of these scenarios will assume very favorable financial market returns, consistent with some of the best periods in investing history for investors. Some scenarios will conform to the worst periods in investing history. Most scenarios will fall somewhere in between.
